«The French Competition Authority has rejected the appeal of the two audiovisual groups – Canal + and beIN Sports – against the French Professional Football League (the “LFP”) for abuse of dominant position when the League 1 championship rights were awarded to Amazon. According to the French Competition Authority, the evidence against the LFP is insufficient to conclude that it would abuse its dominant position. »
